- Sorted through another shelf of old books to allow those I don't need to be passed on to new owners.
- Prepared only enough food for a healthy serving at breakfast, carefully putting away remaining ingredients so they wouldn't go to waste.
- Put my fruit and vegetable scraps in the compost bin so they can eventually help nourish my garden.
- Used the natural light from my windows to keep the lights off as long as possible during the day.
- Kept my thermostat set 3 degrees higher than I used to in an effort to save energy (and money).
